Dublin drive-by shooting sees two hospitalised
Two men were recovering in hospital tonight after a drive-by shooting in Dublin.
The pair, a 27-year-old and a 21-year-old, were walking along the Clonsilla Road in west Dublin when they were approached by a black car.
A number of shots were fired from the vehicle which then sped off shortly after 6pm.
The men are now in a stable condition in James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown.
Gardaí are waiting to speak to them about the incident.
Officers warned that there would be traffic restrictions in the area tonight and tomorrow morning – particularly around the Blanchardstown junction – while they preserve the scene.
