Buses allowed to use hard shoulder on Dublin approach roads

The Government has reportedly approved a request from Bus Eireann that its vehicles be allowed to drive on hard shoulders to avoid traffic congestion.

Reports this morning said Bus Eireann figures presented to the Government had shown that gridlock was costing the company €20m every year.
