Post mortem on woman found dead in Galway Bay

A post mortem is to take place today on the body of a missing woman found in Galway Bay.

The remains of 29-year-old Anne Marie Gavin of Truskey West in Barna were found on the sea shore at Tyrone in Kilcolgan at a 3.45pm yesterday afternoon.

She was reported missing on Tuesday after disappearing on Monday evening.

The post mortem will take place at University College Hospital.
