Minister not surprised by nursing home legislation decision

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern has said he is not surprised by the President's decision to convene the Council of State to examine new legislation on nursing home fees.

The legislation, designed to legalise such fees, was rushed through the Oireachtas last week.
