FG's Finucane speaks out against release of McCabe killers
Fine Gael senator Michael Finucane has spoken out about his experience of being kidnapped by the IRA 14 years ago.
Mr Finucane, a former Limerick West TD, is responding to the government's admission that it could be prepared to release the killers of Detective Jerry McCabe.
The senator said that his abduction in 1990 by three members of the terrorist organisation has influenced his view that the McCabe killers should not be set free.
