Limerick teen caught with semi-automatic gun

A teenager was caught by gardaí in Limerick walking in city suburb with a semi-automatic handgun.

The 16-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was arrested at 9.20pm in Griffith Avenue, in the Weston area of Limerick city's south side last night.
