Fears have grown of renewed violence between feuding Limerick gangs after a pipe-bomb was discovered in the city, the Evening Echo newspaper reported today.

The Bomb Disposal Squad, based in Cork, were called to the city yesterday to deal with a suspect device which was discovered in the attic in a coal yard owned by relatives of murdered crime boss, Kieran Keane.
