House rebuilding costs up marginally over past 12 months
The cost of rebuilding a house in Ireland has risen marginally over the past 12 months, according to the Society of Chartered Surveyors.
The society said this compared to significant increases in costs over the previous 12-month period.
It said the highest increase in rebuilding costs last year was in the Dublin area, where they rose by up to 4.2%.
The lowest increases were in Galway and Cork, where rebuilding costs rose by 0.5%.
