Police release man arrested in connection with Omagh bomb
Police in the North have released a 44-year-old man arrested earlier this week in connection with the 1998 Omagh bombing.
The man was arrested on Wednesday by detectives investigating the Real IRA bomb attack that killed 29 people, including a pregnant woman, and injured hundreds more on August 15th, 1998.
No one has been convicted of direct involvement in the bombing, but a Dundalk man, Colm Murphy, is serving a 14-year jail sentence for allowing his mobile phones to be used by the bombers.
Mr Murphy is appealing his conviction and sentence.
