Primate looks for alternative to decommissioning pics

The Catholic Primate of Ireland has said that an alternative to photographic evidence must be found to provide certainty IRA decommissioning has taken place.

Archbishop Sean Brady said today that it was reasonable for republicans to regard DUP demands for photographic proof as humiliating.

He said the concerns of both republicans and unionists should be treated seriously in the peace process and both should have the right to dignity and respect.
