Conference to highlight plight of separated fathers

The plight of unmarried and separated fathers is due to be highlighted at a conference in Dublin today.

The event was arranged by the support group Amen to coincide with the 10th anniversary of International Year of the Family.

The main issue of discussion is expected to be the family law system, which many believe discriminates against unmarried and separated fathers by denying them adequate access to their children.
