Blair to push for deal on North

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has insisted that he will continue to do all he can to secure a final settlement to years of conflict in Northern Ireland.

Mr Blair and the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern are due to travel to Belfast today to unveil their proposals for restoring power-sharing government in the North.
