Peace teeters on IRA 'humiliation attempt'
Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and British Prime Minister Tony Blair will today reveal in Belfast the deal they have been working on to revive power sharing in Northern Ireland.
But as the two prepared to release the plan they put to Democratic Unionist leader Ian Paisley and Sinn Féin’s Gerry Adams, a row over how the IRA should disarm looked like derailing it.
