Body discovered near M4 motorway

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man’s body on the side of a road, on the Meath Kildare border.

It was found close to the route of the M4 motorway between Enfield and Johnstown Bridge shortly after midday.

The body has been removed to Naas General Hospital for a post mortem examination.

The scene is being preserved for technical examination.
