The Teachers Union of Ireland's conference in Dublin today heard that unchecked bad behaviour of students is taking its toll on both teachers' wellbeing and the quality of education in classrooms.

TUI President Paddy Healy said that the rights of disruptive students are being put ahead of the vast majority of children and it is a situation that is unsupportable.
