An Post unions and management to hold talks on SDS closure

The Communications Workers Union is to hold talks with An Post over the weekend in an effort to resolve a dispute over the company's plans to close its SDS parcel delivery service.

Postal workers throughout the country are due to mount a 24-hour strike on Wednesday in protest at the closure, which will lead to 270 lay-offs.
