Five men put on conspiracy charges

Five men were charged tonight with conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to unlawfully imprison.

Three of the men face a further charge of possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

They are all expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.

The charges relate to an incident in the Cregagh area of Belfast last week.

A sixth person, a woman, has been released pending further inquiries.
