Social and Family Affairs Minister Seamus Brennan has announced a €70,000 grant to fund learning courses for people who are housebound.

Social and Family Affairs Minister Seamus Brennan has announced a €70,000 grant to fund learning courses for people who are housebound.

Mr Brennan said the money would be used by the Open Learning Centre at Coláiste Ide in the Finglas area of Dublin to fund "distance learning courses".
