More than two-thirds of Irish adults seek advice from their pharmacist rather than their GP when they have minor ailments such as coughs, colds and flu, according to a survey conducted by Drury Research.

Just over half of the 1,000 respondents also said they believed their pharmacist provided more practical advice than their GP when it came to non-serious ailments.
