We would put people's needs first - Kenny

A Fine Gael led government must put the needs of citizens at its heart and reform public services, the country’s opposition leader claimed tonight.

In a speech to a special delegates conference of the party in Athlone, Co Westmeath, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny launched a hard hitting attack on the Fianna Fáil-Progressive Democrat coalition, accusing ministers of arrogance and recycling old promises.
