Ferry passengers stranded in France after sailing cancelled

Around 200 ferry passengers were left stranded in France today after Irish Ferries cancelled a return sailing of the MV Normandy.

The move comes less than 24 hours after unions called for strike action in a bid to fight radical redundancy plans to axe 150 workers.
