An 80-year-old woman was knocked down and killed last night in a road accident in Co Mayo.

An 80-year-old woman was knocked down and killed last night in a road accident in Co Mayo.

The incident happened in Castlebar at around 7pm. The woman's body has been taken to Mayo General Hospital.
