A 32-year-old Corkman has pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to manslaughter at the Central Criminal Court.

Mr William O’Connor denied the murder charge but admitted to the manslaughter of Mr Richard Daly (aged 27) at Tower Street in Cork on June 16, 2002.
