Taoiseach Bertie Ahern travels to Guernsey today for the sixth summit of the British-Irish Council.

He will be accompanied by Dermot Ahern, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and John O'Donoghue, Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism.

Tourism will be the primary topic for discussion, focussing on areas for co-operation and projects which will produce tangible benefits for BIC administration.
