Eamonn O'Cuiv involved in Kerry car crash

The Minister for Gaeltacht Affairs, Eamonn O'Cuiv has been involved in a car crash in County Kerry.

It has been reported that a car carrying Mr O'Cuiv collided with another car shortly after 2.30pm outside Muckross House.

The Minister is thought to have injured his wrist, while his driver and secretary are also said to have suffered minor injuries.

All three are being treated in hospital.

Emergency services used cutting equipment to free two people trapped in the second car.
