Taoiseach meets US Treasury Secretary

The Taoiseach is meeting the Secretary of the US Treasury today.

John Snow will be accompanied by a number of senior officials, while Bertie Ahern will be joined by Departmental officials.

The meeting, at Mr Ahern's constituency office in Drumcondra, north Dublin, will exchange lessons from the economic experiences of the US and Irish economies.

John Snow is said to be particularly interested in Ireland's economic success.
