Hanafin ends freeze on capital projects spend

The Minister for Education, Mary Hanafin, has announced an end to the freeze on spending for capital projects for third-level colleges.

Minister Hanafin has now given immediate approval for key developments, which she said will result in more health skills and teacher-training places, with funding to the tune of €82m.
