Monaghan hospital lets five doctors go

Monaghan General Hospital has announced that five junior doctors are to be let go in the new year.

The announcement has generated fears about further loss of services at the hospital.

The doctors, who specialise in surgery, have been told their contracts will not be renewed in January.
