Coastguard rescues sick Spanish fisherman off west coast

A Spanish fisherman has been airlifted to safety after he took ill on board a trawler off the west coast of Ireland last night.

The coastguard helicopter picked up the crewman from a French fishing vessel about 170 miles out from Shannon, sometime after midnight.
