Woman dies in Dublin housefire

A 52-year-old woman has died following a housefire in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin last night.

Units of Tallaght fire brigade battled the blaze at Cherryorchard Avenue, which broke out at around 10.20pm.

Two men managed to escape from the house, but a woman inside died.

The two men are receiving treatment at St James' hospital in Dublin.
