Politicians and residents in Co Leitrim have formed an action group to oppose plans to divide the county in two for future elections.

Politicians and residents in Co Leitrim have formed an action group to oppose plans to divide the county in two for future elections.

The group has expressed concern that the Government's plan to incorporate north Leitrim into the Sligo constituency and south Leitrim into the Roscommon constituency could leave the country without its own TD.
