Harney considers selling land to raise health funds

The Minister for Health Mary Harney is believed to be planning to sell off land attached to hospitals and other facilities throughout the country in an effort to generate funding for health services.

Reports this morning said the Tánaiste had ordered a review of the portfolio of land owned by all hospitals and health boards to identify if any could be sold off.
