Govts encounter difficulties in finding North deal

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has admitted that the Irish and British Governments have reached difficulties in trying to secure a breakthrough in the peace process.

The two governments had been hoping that an agreement could be reached between Sinn Féin and the DUP within the coming weeks.
