Ahern highlights unjust treatment of executed Irish soldiers

The Irish Government has presented a report to the British government highlighting the "unjust" treatment of 26 Irish soldiers who were executed by the British Army during the First World War.

Announcing the move today, Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern said the report was the first to extensively evaluate the courts martial and execution of the soldiers.
