2,000-tonne ship runs aground in Kinsale Harbour

A 2,000-tonne ship has run aground at the entrance to Kinsale Harbour.

Kinsale lifeboat and a local fishing vessel assisted in attempts to re-float the vessel during high tide this morning, but they were unsuccessful and the manoeuvre will be tried again at high tide this evening.
