Taoiseach: No Dublin Metro line until 2007

The Taoiseach has told the Dáil that a Metro line between Dublin airport and the city centre will not be built before 2007.

Bertie Ahern said the logistics of constructing the rail link are being examined, but that the cost would prevent the State investing in other transport initiatives in Dublin city.
