Ireland not neutral on Iraq, says rebel UK MP

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern must think Iraqis are “stupid” if he continues to promote Ireland as a neutral state, it was claimed today.

Rebel British MP George Galloway, thrown out of Britain's Labour Party for his outspoken opposition to the Iraq war, called on the Government to stop the use of Shannon airport by US troops en route to Iraq.
