Motorists in the North are continuing to ignore speed limits and warnings about drinking and driving, according to figures released by the PSNI today.

The figures showed that 98 motorists received tickets for speeding in urban areas during a road safety crackdown last week, while 30 were prosecuted for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and another 30 for careless driving.
