Three seriously injured in assaults

A 19 year old man is in a critical condition in Dublin’s Mater Hospital after he was found injured in Ballymun at 3am this morning.

Gardaí said it is unknown how many people were involved in the attack, and appealed to anyone who was in the Coultry road area at the time to contact them.

Meanwhile, Gardaí are still questioning a teenager in County Donegal in relation to a serious attack in Letterkenny.

The 27 year old victim remains in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

Elswhere, a 40 year old Belfast man is recovering at Cavan General Hospital after he was beaten up and dumped on a roadside in County Monaghan overnight.
