A major search is underway in Paris for a 42-year-old Dublin man who has been missing since Wednesday.

Brendan Brady from Palmerstown, was on a trip to Eurodisney with Rehab care, when he became separated from the group.

Senior Rehab care staff have been co-ordinating the search effort in conjunction with French police.

The operation was launched as soon as Mr Brady was reported missing, according to Rehab spokesperson Chris Macey.

"Posters of him were put around Paris within hours, alerts were issued to all the French media and his description was circulated throughout the city's transport network.

The Dept of Justice in Dublin was instrumental in getting Interpol involved which has been very beneficial to the search effort, he said.
