Clare: Man's body found in deep hole

The body of a man in his sixties was recovered from a deep hole near the sea at Doolin in Co Clare last night.

The man had been reported missing earlier in the evening. A rescue team walking along the shoreline spotted the body in the hole around 60 feet from the water’s edge two miles north of the village at approximately 9pm.
