An Irish-born aid chief held hostage in Iraq was seen weeping in distress as she begged not to be killed like Ken Bigley in a new videotape released today by her captors.

Margaret Hassan, director of CARE International in Iraq, was clearly distraught in the grainy footage broadcast on Arab TV station Al-Jazeera.
