Man and woman injured in shooting at Newry pub
A man and a woman are recovering this morning after being shot in the legs during a gun attack at a pub in Newry, Co Down, last night.
Police said a masked gunman entered McSwiggan's pub on Water Street at around 7.30pm and fired a number of shots.
A 39-year-old man was hit three times in the legs, while a 50-year-old woman was also injured in the ankle, possibly by a ricochet.
Detectives investigating the attack believe it may be linked to a domestic dispute.
