Man questioned after fatal hit-and-run

A man is being questioned in connection with a hit-and-run incident in Co Kildare in the early hours yesterday morning.

A 48-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck from behind as he walked towards on the old road between Kildare and Newbridge at 1am.
