Labour calls for food programme

Labour spokeswoman on Agriculture and Food Mary Upton is calling on the Government to put a proper programme in place to deal with nutrition for the less well off.

Ms Upton said surveys have shown people from lower income groups are more likely to eat filler or junk food which can cause obesity and in some cases, affect mental states.
