Hanafin pledges to reduce school bureaucracy

The new Minister for Education, Mary Hanafin, has pledged to reduce bureacracy in schools.

Ms Hanafin says she is beginning a review of the administrative load that the system places on schools, in a bid to free up teachers to get on with the job.
