One killed in Kildare crash

One person has died in an overnight road accident in Co Kildare.

That crash happened around 1am at Colligan's Court, on the old Dublin Road from Kildare Town to Ballymany.

The road has been closed for the day as a result.

No other vehicle was involved in the incident.
