Man held after Limerick explosives find

A man in his 30s was arrested by gardaí in Limerick today after a substantial seizure of explosives in the city.

Three quarters of a kilo of commercial explosives, with the potential to cause "horrendous damage" was discovered in a search in Ballinacurra Weston on the south side of Limerick city.
