Ahern and Murphy to discuss ongoing North impasse

Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern is due to meet Northern Secretary Paul Murphy today to discuss ongoing efforts to restore devolved government in Northern Ireland.

The talks will focus on ways to break the impasse over a DUP demand for changes to make ministerial departments and cross-border bodies accountable to the Northern Assembly.
