Representatives of the Travelling community and the local authorities in north Dublin have reached an agreement in relation to the stand-off over the erection of a massive concrete barrier at Dunsink Lane in Finglas.

The barrier was put in place last week in an effort to stop illegal dumping on the road, but it also blocked direct access to the rest of Finglas for the Travellers who live in Dunsink.
